Profile
Sells everyday food, household, health, seasonal and apparel goods through small-box discount stores across the United States and Mexico. A limited assortment, private labels and low-cost distribution support value pricing, while consumables drive most sales and core demand comes from low- and fixed-income households.
Runs a small-box discount network across 48 U.S. states and Mexico, selling packaged food and perishables, paper and cleaning goods, health and beauty products, pet supplies, seasonal merchandise, home products and basic apparel. Most locations serve small towns. A focused assortment, high-volume purchasing, no-frills stores and a private fleet and distribution network—including temperature-controlled facilities—help keep trips convenient and prices competitive.
National brands sit alongside private labels such as Clover Valley and trueliving. Mi Súper Dollar General is the early-stage Mexico format, while pOpshelf focuses on discretionary goods but is no longer expanding as the concept is reassessed. Consumables generate most sales and carry lower margins than seasonal and home goods. Core shoppers skew toward low- and fixed-income households, tying demand to inflation, wages, employment and government assistance programs.

Ownership
A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
