Profile

Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc.ZBHHealth Care

Sells knee and hip replacement systems alongside sports-medicine, trauma, foot-and-ankle, and other orthopedic products, earning revenue through direct hospital and surgery-center accounts and distributors. Its implant franchises are paired with ROSA robotics and the ZBEdge digital platform, while the Americas remain its largest region.

Designs and manufactures knee and hip replacement systems, sports-medicine and biologic products, trauma and extremity implants, foot-and-ankle devices, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic products, bone cement, and surgical tools. The ZBEdge platform connects ROSA robotics and other digital technologies with implant workflows and data gathered before, during, and after surgery.

Pairs broad reconstructive implant franchises with the instruments, clinical training, consigned inventory, and technical sales support needed around surgical procedures. Hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers buy directly or through distributors across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, with the Americas the largest region. Demand and pricing depend on procedure volumes, reimbursement and healthcare cost controls, while product launches require regulatory clearance and reliable component supply.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
