Profile

Stryker CorporationSYKHealth Care

Sells orthopaedic implants, Mako robotic systems, surgical instruments, endoscopy equipment, hospital-care technology, neurocranial devices and vascular tools across Orthopaedics and MedSurg and Neurotechnology. Most revenue comes from U.S. hospitals and clinicians, with implants paired to the instruments, navigation and robotics used in procedures.

Runs Orthopaedics and MedSurg and Neurotechnology businesses spanning implants, procedure technology and hospital equipment. Orthopaedics covers knees, hips, trauma and extremities; Ortho Tech groups Mako robotics and enabling technologies with power tools and cutting accessories.

MedSurg and Neurotechnology includes surgical instruments and navigation, endoscopy, patient handling, emergency and intensive-care products, clinical communications and virtual-care software, neurocranial devices, and vascular tools for stroke and venous thromboembolism. Inari broadened clot-removal offerings, while the spinal-implant business was sold.

Pairs implants with the instruments, planning software and robotic systems used in procedures, while most products are marketed directly to hospitals and clinicians. The United States supplies most sales, with additional business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Product launches depend on regulatory review, while reimbursement and healthcare cost-containment measures shape adoption and pricing.
