Profile

Argan, Inc.AGXIndustrials

Provides EPC, commissioning and maintenance for natural-gas, renewable and energy-storage projects, alongside industrial construction and teledata infrastructure services. Most revenue comes from long-duration Power contracts in the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom, with many large projects priced on a fixed-price basis.

Provides engineering, procurement and construction services through three segments: Power, Industrial and Teledata. Most revenue comes from turnkey projects, where Gemma Power Systems and Atlantic Projects Company design, procure, build, commission and maintain natural-gas, renewable and energy-storage facilities across the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Supports industrial plants mainly in the southeastern United States through new construction, maintenance turnarounds, emergency field work, and pipe and pressure-vessel fabrication. Teledata builds and maintains power-distribution and communications networks for commercial, industrial and government customers, including a New England presence added through ValCor Communications.

Coordinates independently managed subsidiaries from a holding-company structure. Most large contracts are fixed-price, revenue is concentrated among a small group of Power customers, and project starts depend on owners' financing, permits and notices to proceed.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
