Profile
Designs magnetic sensing and application-specific power ICs for automotive motion control, electrification, automation, and energy-efficient systems. A fabless operating model combines long automotive qualification cycles with supply ties to Polar Semiconductor and technology acquired for TMR sensing and isolated gate drivers.
Designs magnetic sensing and application-specific power ICs for automotive motion control, electrification, automation, and energy-efficient systems. The portfolio spans established Hall-effect sensing, TMR current and position sensing, and isolated gate drivers for advanced power conversion.
Automotive qualification, long product cycles, and integration of sensing functions into application-specific chips define the operating model. Engineering execution has extended a long-running gear-tooth sensor franchise into newer TMR and power-control technologies through the Crocus and Heyday acquisitions.
Headquartered in New Hampshire, the business follows a fabless structure created after the separation of Polar Semiconductor, which remained an important wafer supplier. This model depends on external manufacturing relationships while serving vehicles, industrial automation, robotics, and green-energy systems.
