Profile

Analog Devices, Inc.ADIInformation Technology

Designs analog, mixed-signal, power-management, radio-frequency, sensor, and edge-processing semiconductors for industrial, automotive, communications, and consumer systems. Data converters anchor the portfolio, industrial applications form the largest end market, and a hybrid network of internal fabs and outside foundries supplies production.

Designs analog, mixed-signal, power-management, radio-frequency, sensor, and edge-processing chips, plus software and subsystems for sensing, measuring, connecting, and powering real-world systems. Data converters remain the largest product family, while industrial applications form the largest end market; automotive, communications, and consumer systems round out demand.

Serves customers worldwide through direct sales and distributors, combining general-purpose catalogs with application-specific designs and field engineering. Products span industrial automation and instrumentation, healthcare, energy, vehicles, communications infrastructure, data centers, and consumer electronics. The Empower Semiconductor acquisition added high-density power-delivery technology for AI computing.

Manufactures through internal fabs in the United States and Ireland and third-party foundries, which supply more than half of wafer needs. Orders are generally cancelable, demand is cyclical, and export restrictions affect sales in China and elsewhere; more than half of revenue flows through distributors.
