Profile
Owns the Sabine Pass liquefaction and export terminal and Creole Trail Pipeline, supplying LNG under long-term contracts. Parent-controlled partnership structure, project financing, Gulf Coast weather exposure and federal permits shape operations and expansion.
Owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana, where six liquefaction trains convert pipeline gas into LNG for export. Creole Trail Pipeline links the site to interstate gas networks, while storage tanks, marine berths and legacy regasification equipment support terminal operations.
Executes a contract-backed operating model built around long-term customer agreements, parent-provided personnel and staged project development. The publicly traded partnership is controlled through a general partner wholly owned by Cheniere Energy, which also supplies the workforce supporting Sabine Pass.
Exports LNG to global customers from a single Gulf Coast complex. Operations remain exposed to severe weather and safety oversight, while expansion requires federal permits, commercial commitments, financing and a final investment decision.
