Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte Sociedad AnónimaEDNUtilities

Distributes and sells electricity to residential, commercial, industrial and wheeling customers in a defined Buenos Aires concession area. Revenue comes from regulated tariffs and distribution charges, leaving operations tied to ENRE tariff decisions, service standards and wholesale electricity purchases.

Distributes and sells electricity under an exclusive concession covering northwest Greater Buenos Aires and the northern part of Buenos Aires city. Serves residential, commercial, industrial, public-lighting and wheeling customers in a single regulated distribution segment. Buys power in the wholesale market for ordinary customers and collects tariffs covering energy-related amounts and a regulated distribution margin; wheeling users pay for network access.

Operates high-, medium- and low-voltage networks, using edenordigital for bills and service procedures and MIDE meters for self-managed access, control and loss reduction. Network investment, reliability and collection are central operational tasks.

ENRE sets tariffs and quality standards, and CAMMESA is the major wholesale supplier. The business has no current reportable business or geographic diversification.
