Profile
Provides less-than-truckload freight service through time-definite Priority and value-oriented Economy offerings, supplemented by specialized services and multi-carrier tools. Revenue depends on consolidating shipments across an integrated North American service-center network, with most activity domestic.
Consolidates less-than-truckload shipments through an integrated service-center network, selling time-definite Priority and lower-cost Economy service alongside Volume Services, Retail Flex, Freight Direct, Custom Critical, and LTL Select. Most activity is domestic, with coverage across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, plus delivery to most points in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Uses cross-docking, network scale, a dedicated LTL salesforce, and routing, planning, visibility, and forecasting tools to match pickup, linehaul, and delivery capacity. Freight volumes and utilization depend on North American goods activity, while operations are subject to transportation, safety, customs, environmental, data, and AI rules. The FedEx brand and supporting technology services are governed by post-separation agreements.
