Profile

Fox Factory Holding Corp.FOXFConsumer Discretionary

Designs, engineers and manufactures suspension systems for mountain bikes, motorcycles, side-by-side vehicles and specialty trucks, upfits pickup trucks and off-road vehicles through dealer networks, and produces baseball and softball bats and protective gear through a sports-equipment business added to its portfolio, selling to both original-equipment manufacturers and enthusiast retail buyers.

Grew from a 1977 motocross shock-absorber shop into a maker of suspension systems for mountain bikes, motorcycles, side-by-side vehicles and specialty trucks, sold to manufacturers and enthusiast buyers alike.

Three reportable segments organize the business: powered-vehicle suspension for motorcycles, side-by-sides and specialty trucks; truck upfitting plus off-road wheels and tires sold through dealer networks; and bike suspension paired with baseball and softball bats and protective gear added through an acquisition that broadened the sports lineup beyond suspension.

Operations concentrate in the United States, spanning engineering, assembly and distribution facilities that trace back to the original California suspension shop.

Demand tracks original-equipment vehicle production schedules and interest-rate-sensitive discretionary spending on upfitted trucks and specialty sporting goods, with the newly acquired baseball and softball lineup still being folded into the existing operations.
