Profile

Gen Digital Inc.GENInformation Technology

Sells consumer cybersecurity, privacy, identity-protection and financial-wellness services through Norton, Avast, LifeLock, MoneyLion and related brands. Revenue comes mainly from subscriptions and services across direct, freemium and partner channels, with Cyber Safety Platform larger than Trust-Based Solutions.

Organizes consumer protection and financial wellness into two operating segments. Cyber Safety Platform sells security, device-performance and privacy subscriptions and point products through Norton, Avast, AVG, Avira and CCleaner. Trust-Based Solutions provides LifeLock identity protection and restoration, ReputationDefender services, and MoneyLion financial products, content and the Engine marketplace.

Reaches users worldwide through e-commerce, mobile apps, freemium conversion and partners including telecom and employee-benefit providers. Most subscriptions use annual terms, while marketplaces distribute first- and third-party offers. The Americas generate most revenue, followed by EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Combines established security brands with acquired identity, reputation and financial-wellness capabilities. Operations depend on subscriber retention, personal-data and financial-services compliance, third-party funding and distribution, and Broadcom-supplied engineering and threat-response services used by Norton.
