Profile
Supplies debt and equity capital to U.S. affordable multifamily, seniors, and skilled-nursing properties, chiefly through mortgage revenue bonds and governmental issuer loans. Income is primarily interest-based, within an externally managed limited-partnership structure that relies on leverage, capital-markets financing, and property-level repayment.
Provides capital for affordable rental housing chiefly by acquiring tax-exempt mortgage revenue bonds and governmental issuer loans. The portfolio also includes taxable companion debt, property loans, construction-lending interests, and joint-venture equity across multifamily, seniors, and skilled-nursing projects in the United States.
Earns mainly investment and other interest income from its affordable multifamily portfolio, while joint-venture investments depend on operations, refinancing, or sales. Externally managed through a Greystone-controlled general-partner chain, it uses leverage, capital-markets financing, and interest-rate hedges. Repayment on most mortgage revenue bonds relies on property cash flow and sale or refinancing proceeds; tax-exempt interest depends on legal and property-compliance requirements.
