Profile

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.PNCFinancials

Provides consumer and small-business banking, commercial lending, treasury management, capital-markets services, and wealth management across a coast-to-coast U.S. footprint. Customer deposits fund much of the balance sheet, while lending spreads and fee-based services drive revenue under extensive bank regulation.

Runs Retail Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, and Asset Management Group across a coast-to-coast U.S. franchise. Branches and digital channels deliver deposits, consumer and small-business loans, payments, cards, mortgages, and investments.

Corporate & Institutional Banking combines commercial lending with treasury management, real estate finance, asset-based lending, capital markets, and advisory services; wealth businesses provide private banking, investment management, custody, and fiduciary services. The relationship model links deposits and credit with fee-based services, and the completed FirstBank conversion added branches in Colorado and Arizona.

Earnings and funding depend on loan demand, credit quality, deposit pricing, interest rates, market levels, and capital-markets activity. The holding company is supervised by the Federal Reserve; PNC Bank is principally regulated by the OCC and also overseen by the FDIC and CFPB.
