Profile

Green Plains Inc.GPREMaterials

Produces ethanol, distillers grains, Ultra-High Protein, and renewable corn oil through Midwest biorefineries, with commodity services handling grain procurement, storage, marketing, and energy inputs. The model depends on corn and natural-gas costs, product spreads, carbon-capture execution, and clean-fuel tax-credit rules.

Produces ethanol, distillers grains, Ultra-High Protein, and renewable corn oil through a Midwest biorefinery network. Agribusiness and Energy Services adds grain procurement, storage, commodity marketing, co-product distribution, third-party ethanol marketing, and natural-gas purchasing.

Current strategy centers on extracting more value from corn inputs, not only selling fuel ethanol. FQT separation technology supports Ultra-High Protein production and higher corn-oil yields, while carbon-intensity reduction and carbon capture are part of the low-carbon fuel platform.

Operations are concentrated in the U.S. Midwest and shaped by commodity spreads, plant utilization, feed-market acceptance, renewable diesel and biodiesel demand, CCS execution, and clean-fuel tax-credit rules.
