Profile

Cheniere Energy, Inc.LNGEnergy

Liquefies North American natural gas at Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi, selling LNG through long-term contracts and shorter-term marketing. Revenue depends on terminal availability, feed-gas supply, shipping access, customer performance, and gas-linked contract pricing.

Buys North American natural gas, liquefies it at the Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi terminals, and loads customer vessels or delivers cargoes to overseas regasification sites. LNG sales combine long-term agreements with shorter-term marketing of uncommitted production.

Operating strength rests on safety, reliability, construction execution, and coordination across gas procurement, pipelines, liquefaction, vessel chartering, and delivery. Sabine Pass also retains legacy regasification and terminal-use services, while Corpus Christi continues a staged midscale expansion.

Cash flows depend heavily on long-term customer contracts and gas-linked pricing. Operations require reliable feed gas, pipeline capacity, marine berths, vessels, and overseas receiving infrastructure, while expansions and terminal operations remain subject to federal, state, environmental, and safety approvals.
