Profile
Produces crude oil, natural gas and NGLs from Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk properties in South Texas, selling output at market-linked prices. A single U.S. segment concentrates operations in Karnes and Giddings, where growth comes from drilling and bolt-on acreage acquisitions.
Acquires, develops, explores and produces crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids from the Karnes and Giddings areas of South Texas. Operations target the Eagle Ford Shale and Austin Chalk, with Giddings supplying most current output. A pending acquisition of WildFire Energy's nearby assets would more than double the Giddings acreage and add exposure to the Woodbine.
Pairs operated drilling with bolt-on acreage acquisitions and a capital program designed to remain within operating cash flow. Oil contributes most revenue, while all three commodities are sold at market-linked prices to refiners, processors and other third parties. Results depend on commodity prices, well performance, customer concentration, gathering and processing access, lease retention, and federal, state and local rules governing drilling, emissions and environmental remediation.
