Profile
Provides personal and business deposits, residential and consumer credit, commercial and commercial-real-estate loans, treasury management, and wealth services through Northwest Bank. Its branch franchise spans Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Indiana, while specialty commercial teams originate selected credits nationwide.
Operates Northwest Bank, a community-oriented savings bank providing checking and savings accounts, residential mortgages, home-equity and consumer loans, and business banking across Pennsylvania, western New York, northeastern Ohio, and Indiana. The Penns Woods acquisition broadened its Pennsylvania network, while the holding company remains based in Columbus and the bank in Warren.
Commercial banking covers business and commercial-real-estate credit, treasury management, and nationally originated specialty finance, including SBA, equipment, restaurant and franchise, sponsor, sports, and corporate lending. Investment management, trust, employee-benefit, and wealth services add fee-based offerings alongside lending and deposits.
Earnings depend chiefly on interest collected from loans and securities versus the cost of deposits and borrowings. Credit quality, access to deposits, regulatory capital requirements, and the integration of acquired banks shape the balance sheet.
