Profile
Provides consumer and commercial banking across western and central Pennsylvania and Ohio, funded primarily by customer deposits. Revenue comes mainly from loan and securities interest after funding costs, with additional fees from wealth, trust, insurance, brokerage and mortgage services.
Operates First Commonwealth Bank as a single community-banking segment serving western and central Pennsylvania and Ohio. Consumer and business deposits fund commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, equipment-finance, SBA, residential mortgage, home-equity, indirect-auto and other consumer loans. Trust and wealth management, insurance, brokerage and mortgage sales add fee income.
Combines a community-branch network with commercial business centers, while the CenterBank acquisition deepened its Cincinnati presence. Net interest income is the primary revenue source, making deposit pricing, lending volumes, credit performance and interest rates central to results. The bank and its holding company are subject to extensive federal and state regulation, and customer deposits remain the primary funding source.
