Profile

Citizens Financial Group, Inc.CFGFinancials

Provides consumer, small-business, private, wealth, and commercial banking through a regional branch network and national digital or specialty businesses. Deposit funding supports lending, while treasury, capital-markets, advisory, card, mortgage, and wealth fees diversify revenue; net interest income remains the largest source.

Operates Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking for individuals, small businesses, middle-market companies, corporations, and institutions. Consumer Banking spans deposits, cards, mortgages, home equity, education and auto lending, small-business services, Citizens Access, and Citizens Private Bank and Private Wealth. Commercial Banking provides lending, leasing, treasury management, foreign exchange, risk-management products, syndication, corporate finance, and capital-markets and M&A advisory.

Combines roughly 1,000 branches concentrated in New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest with digital and national businesses. Private Bank offices also reach California and Florida. Recent execution has produced Private Bank and wealth-fee growth, strong capital-markets activity, and a new consumer mobile platform.

Earns most revenue from net interest income, linking results to loan yields, deposit costs, Federal Reserve policy, credit performance, and banking-capital, liquidity, and consumer-protection rules.
