Profile

NXP Semiconductors N.V.NXPIInformation Technology

Supplies processors, microcontrollers, analog, power, connectivity, security, and software across automotive, industrial and IoT, mobile, and communications infrastructure. Automotive contributes most revenue, while a hybrid manufacturing model combines owned and joint-venture fabs with external foundries.

Designs and sells microcontrollers, application and communications processors, analog and interface chips, wireless-connectivity devices, security controllers, and software for Automotive, Industrial & IoT, Mobile, and Communication Infrastructure & Other markets. The S32 automotive platform, i.MX processors, radar, battery-management, in-vehicle networking, NFC, UWB, and secure-element products combine into systems built around processing, connectivity, power, and security. Automotive generates most revenue, while customers span the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Operates a hybrid manufacturing model: proprietary specialty processes run in owned and joint-venture fabs, standard processes use external foundries, and most assembly and testing remain in-house. TTTech Auto, Aviva Links, and Kinara added vehicle software, in-car connectivity, and edge-AI accelerators; the MEMS sensor business was sold. Results depend on automotive production, long safety qualifications, export rules, external manufacturing capacity, and a distribution network in which one distributor handles a substantial share of sales.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
