Profile

Bank OZKOZKFinancials

Provides branch-based banking across nine states alongside nationwide specialty lending. Its core specialties include commercial-real-estate construction and development finance and dealer-network consumer loans for recreational vehicles and marine products.

Operates a multistate branch banking franchise while extending specialized lending nationwide. Its Real Estate Specialties Group, or RESG, finances commercial-real-estate construction and development, while its indirect lending division makes dealer-network consumer loans for RV and marine products.

The bank expanded beyond its Arkansas community-bank roots through acquisitions and later adopted the Bank OZK name as its presence broadened. Its branch network supports a nine-state footprint, while specialty lending serves major U.S. markets.

George Gleason remains chairman and chief executive. The business is shaped by its reliance on a branch-based deposit franchise and by concentration in RESG lending.
