Provides high-touch private and business banking, customized commercial real-estate and SBA lending, and cash-management services through CalPrivate Bank. Revenue comes chiefly from lending and deposit spreads, within a branch-light, relationship-led model focused on coastal Southern California.
Combines Private Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate Banking, and Private Business Capital through CalPrivate Bank, its FDIC-insured California state-chartered subsidiary. Offerings span deposit accounts, customized credit, treasury and cash-management tools, commercial-property lending, and SBA loans.
Serves high-net-worth individuals, professionals, closely held businesses, real-estate entrepreneurs, and advisers across coastal Southern California, supported by local decision-making, customized structures, digital delivery, and a branch-light footprint. Specialist services also address legal and fiduciary providers, registered investment advisers, wealth managers, family offices, and nonprofits.
Depends primarily on deposit funding and the spread between interest earned on loans and securities and interest paid on deposits and borrowings. Credit exposure is concentrated in commercial real estate, commercial lending, SBA programs, unsecured private-client lending, and Southern California markets, while operations remain subject to banking, SBA, SEC, and Nasdaq requirements.
