Profile
Provides commercial and consumer banking, mortgage, treasury management, nationwide factoring and asset-based lending, plus trust and investment services. Most revenue comes from lending, while customer deposits supply the core funding base across a Southeastern branch franchise.
Operates a Southeastern banking franchise through the Community Banks segment, providing commercial, real estate and consumer loans, deposit accounts, mortgage banking and treasury management. Local market presidents retain decision-making, while risk, technology and other support functions are centralized. Republic Business Credit adds nationwide factoring and asset-based lending.
The Wealth Management segment provides trust, custody, investment advisory and brokerage services through the Trust and Financial Services divisions. Lending and related fees generate most revenue, and customer deposits are the main funding source. Results therefore depend heavily on credit performance, deposit pricing and interest-rate spreads. Banking, mortgage and wealth activities are supervised by federal and state regulators, with the Community Banks segment accounting for substantially all assets and revenue.
