Profile
Provides consumer, commercial, real-estate, agricultural, mortgage, treasury, trust, investment, card, and insurance services through Simmons Bank across the Mid-South. Earnings come mainly from interest spreads, with fee income from banking and wealth services; results depend on deposit funding, credit performance, interest rates, and bank regulation.
Operates Simmons Bank across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas, serving individuals, small and midsize businesses, and larger commercial clients. Community banking covers deposits, consumer and real-estate lending, mortgages, cards, and digital banking; commercial banking adds commercial real estate, construction, industrial, equipment, agricultural, SBA, and treasury-management financing. A wealth group provides trust, investment, agency, and custody services, while bank-owned agencies sell personal and commercial insurance.
Combines local relationship teams with centralized support and earns mainly from the spread between interest on loans and securities and the cost of deposits and borrowings, supplemented by service fees. Credit quality, deposit stability, interest rates, and operating efficiency shape results. As a financial holding company, cash available to the parent depends principally on dividends from the regulated bank, subject to capital and supervisory limits.
