Profile

Steven Madden, Ltd.SHOOConsumer Discretionary

Designs and sources fashion footwear, handbags, accessories and apparel for wholesale customers and its own stores, concessions and websites, while earning smaller licensing royalties. A multi-brand portfolio led by Steve Madden and Kurt Geiger relies on outsourced overseas manufacturing and rapid response to fashion trends.

Designs, sources and markets fashion footwear, handbags, accessories and apparel through Wholesale Footwear, Wholesale Accessories/Apparel, Direct-to-Consumer and Licensing. The portfolio spans Steve Madden, Kurt Geiger London, Dolce Vita, Betsey Johnson, Carvela, Blondo and ATM, alongside Anne Klein licensed products and retailer private labels. Wholesale remains the largest channel, while stores, concessions and e-commerce provide direct sales across North America, the UK, Europe and other international markets.

Builds assortments around rapid trend sensing, small-scale retail and online testing, and flexible outsourced production. The Kurt Geiger acquisition expanded the group in accessories, international markets and direct-to-consumer distribution. All products are made by independent overseas manufacturers, with most purchases concentrated in China and Cambodia, leaving sourcing, ocean freight and U.S. tariff policy as core operating dependencies.
