Profile
Sells footwear through Famous Footwear stores and e-commerce while designing and distributing owned, licensed and private-label brands through the Brand Portfolio segment. The business is centered in North America retail and wholesale channels, with additional branded stores in East and Southeast Asia.
Operates through two engines: Famous Footwear, a family-footwear retail banner centered on U.S. and Canada stores and e-commerce, and Brand Portfolio, which designs, sources and distributes owned, licensed and private-label footwear.
Brand Portfolio includes Sam Edelman, Stuart Weitzman, Allen Edmonds, Naturalizer and Vionic. Its wholesale reach covers retailers in the U.S., Canada and international markets, with company-owned brand stores in North America and East and Southeast Asia.
The operating model links product design, sourcing, speed and marketing across banners, while Famous Footwear also carries Caleres-owned labels such as Naturalizer and Dr. Scholl's Shoes.
Execution depends on store traffic at Famous Footwear, discretionary footwear demand, vendor relationships with Nike, Skechers and adidas, and integration of acquired brands such as Stuart Weitzman.
