Profile
Provides clearing and execution, commodity hedging, physical trading and logistics, securities services, retail trading, and cross-border payments. Revenue comes from commissions and clearing fees, principal gains, physical margins, interest income, and service fees; the R.J. O'Brien acquisition made it the largest U.S. non-bank futures commission merchant.
Serves commercial firms, institutions, self-directed traders, and payments clients through four operating segments. Commercial combines commodity risk management, exchange-traded and over-the-counter execution, physical trading, financing, and logistics. Institutional provides derivatives and securities clearing, fixed-income and equity execution, prime brokerage, capital markets, and research.
Self-Directed/Retail operates the FOREX.com and City Index foreign-exchange and CFD platforms alongside U.S. independent wealth management. Payments supplies cross-border payment, treasury, and technology services to banks, businesses, charities, and public-sector organizations worldwide.
The R.J. O'Brien acquisition expanded derivatives clearing and made the network the largest U.S. non-bank futures commission merchant. Results depend on client trading and hedging activity, transaction volumes, spreads, interest earned on client balances, commodity markets, and continued access to regulated exchanges and counterparties.
