Profile

T-Mobile US, Inc.TMUSCommunication Services

Sells postpaid and prepaid wireless service, 5G home internet, fiber broadband, devices and wholesale network access across the United States and its territories. Most service revenue comes from postpaid customers, while Deutsche Telekom controls the voting stock and Lumos and Metronet joint ventures supply the fiber networks.

Runs a nationwide wireless and broadband network serving consumers, businesses and wholesale partners across the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Postpaid plans, including T-Mobile for Business and 5G Home Internet, generate most service revenue; Metro by T-Mobile, Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile cover prepaid customers. Device and accessory sales add equipment revenue.

Pairs low-, mid- and high-band spectrum with a standalone 5G network, while the acquired UScellular wireless operations add customers, spectrum and a rural footprint. T-Mobile Fiber sells service over Lumos and Metronet networks operated through noncontrolling joint ventures, with T-Mobile retaining the customer relationships. Deutsche Telekom holds voting control, and operations depend on licensed spectrum, network investment, telecommunications regulation and coordination with fiber joint-venture partners.
