Profile

Tyra Biosciences, Inc.TYRAHealth Care

Develops oral FGFR-targeted medicines for urothelial cancers, achondroplasia, liver cancer, and bile-duct cancer using an in-house structure-guided discovery platform. Dabogratinib anchors a wholly owned clinical pipeline, and the pre-commercial business relies on external capital while candidates move through trials and regulatory review.

Develops oral small-molecule medicines around fibroblast growth factor receptor biology for targeted cancers and genetically defined conditions. Its SNÅP platform combines iterative co-crystal structures, cell assays, and animal models to design for selectivity and resistance coverage. Lead candidate dabogratinib is in mid-stage trials for low-grade upper-tract urothelial carcinoma, intermediate-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer, and pediatric achondroplasia.

Earlier programs include TYRA-430, in an early-stage trial for FGF19-positive hepatocellular carcinoma, and TYRA-200, in an early-stage trial for treatment-resistant FGFR2-driven intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Clinical trials extend across U.S. and international sites, while development is headquartered in Carlsbad. The pipeline is wholly owned, but no product is approved and no revenue has been generated; operations depend on clinical results, regulatory approvals, and external financing.
