Profile

Viasat, Inc.VSATInformation Technology

Sells broadband and narrowband satellite services to aviation, maritime, government, enterprise, and residential customers, alongside secure networking, cybersecurity, tactical communications, and space systems. Revenue is led by recurring connectivity services delivered over owned, leased, and partner satellites, with government and equipment contracts adding product sales.

Provides broadband and narrowband connectivity for commercial aviation, maritime, government, enterprise, residential, and IoT customers. Communication Services combines owned, leased, and partner satellites with ground infrastructure and terminals; its main lines are aviation, government satcom, maritime, and fixed services, with near-global coverage including oceanic and polar reach.

Builds secure communications products through Defense and Advanced Technologies, spanning information security and cyber defense, space and mission systems, tactical networking, and emerging direct-to-device work. Vertically integrated engineering links satellites, modems, antennas, gateways, encryption, and managed services across commercial and government programs.

Recurring service revenue is complemented by equipment and system sales. Operations depend on satellite performance and launch execution, access to licensed spectrum and orbital positions, country-level market access, and government procurement and export-control rules.
