Profile

Xcel Brands, Inc.XELBConsumer Discretionary

Develops and licenses fashion, home, kitchen, and pet brands, earning royalties as outside partners manufacture and sell products. Operates an asset-light brand-management model centered on North American retail, interactive television, and social-commerce distribution.

Owns and develops consumer-brand intellectual property spanning Halston, C. Wonder, Longaberger by Shannon Doherty, and creator-linked concepts such as Tower Hill, GemmaMade, Mesa Mia, OFF/DUTY, and Trust. Respect. Love. Supplies brand management, product design, merchandising, content, talent, marketing, and social-commerce support while licensees manufacture and sell products across apparel, accessories, home, kitchen, and pet categories.

Generates all reported revenue from licensing, commonly through sales-based royalties and minimums. Distribution runs through QVC and HSN, e-commerce, livestreaming, social platforms, department and specialty stores, with revenue reported in North America. Halston licensing and Qurate account for much revenue, while royalty flows depend on licensee sell-through, product availability, retail access, airtime, and platform policies.

A Form 4 total here can count shares the filer formally disclaims — an award voted by proxy, for instance — which the holder's own Schedule 13D/G excludes, so where the two disagree the schedule's smaller figure is used.
