Profile

Federal Signal CorporationFSSIndustrials

Manufactures infrastructure-maintenance vehicles and equipment, from street sweepers and sewer cleaners to refuse trucks and road-marking systems, while also supplying emergency-vehicle, public-warning, and industrial signaling products. Equipment sales are supported by parts, repair, rentals, and training, with municipal and industrial demand concentrated in the United States.

Builds specialty vehicles and equipment for infrastructure maintenance through Environmental Solutions, including street sweepers, sewer cleaners, vacuum and hydro-excavation trucks, refuse vehicles, waterblasting and road-marking systems, dump bodies, and metal-extraction support equipment. Aftermarket parts, repair, rentals, and training extend the installed fleet through a North American service network.

Supplies emergency-vehicle lightbars and sirens, public-warning and interoperable-communications systems, and industrial signaling through Safety and Security Systems. Specialized brands, dealer relationships, direct sales, and service centers connect the portfolio to municipal, governmental, industrial, utility, and commercial customers; most sales remain U.S.-based, while products reach customers worldwide. Government procurement cycles, customer-provided chassis, component availability, and the integration of acquired businesses shape delivery and execution.

A 13F quarter can total more than the shares outstanding — sub-advisers file the same block twice, and a filer's own share count can be a quarter stale. No split is drawn from it.
