Profile
Sells integrated RF, analog and digital chips for broadband gateways, home connectivity, data-center optics, wireless infrastructure and industrial systems. Revenue comes from chips sold to distributors, module makers and equipment manufacturers, while outsourced fabrication and a concentrated customer base shape the business.
Designs RF, analog, mixed-signal and digital communication chips for broadband access, connectivity, mobile and wireline infrastructure, data centers, and industrial markets. The portfolio spans DOCSIS, fiber and DSL gateway silicon; Wi-Fi, Ethernet and MoCA connectivity; optical DSPs for data-center interconnects; 5G radio and wireless-backhaul components; and interface, power-management and storage-acceleration products. Customers include distributors, module makers and equipment manufacturers worldwide, with most shipments routed to Asia.
Combines signal-processing algorithms, embedded software and analog front ends into integrated systems-on-chip, helping reduce component count, power use and customer design work. Operates without fabrication plants, relying mainly on TSMC and UMC for wafers and outside contractors for assembly and testing; a small group of customers accounts for most revenue.
