Profile

Oceaneering International, Inc.OIIEnergy

Sells subsea robotic services, engineered products, offshore project work, asset-integrity and digital services, and aerospace and defense engineering. Revenue comes mostly from offshore oil and gas customers, with work also spanning industrial automation and U.S. government programs.

Operates through five segments: Subsea Robotics, Manufactured Products, Offshore Projects Group, Integrity Management & Digital Solutions, and Aerospace and Defense Technologies. Offerings include work-class ROVs, survey and positioning, subsea umbilicals and connectors, vessel-based installation and intervention, inspection, mobile robots, and engineering for Navy and space programs.

Earns most revenue from offshore oil and gas customers, while also serving power, petrochemical, manufacturing, defense, and aerospace markets. Work spans the U.S. Gulf and international offshore regions; foreign activity supplies roughly half of revenue.

Integrates in-house ROV design and operation with specialized hardware, vessels, engineering, and inspection expertise for harsh environments. Results depend on offshore spending, fleet and vessel utilization, safe project delivery, international operating conditions, and continued government funding for Navy and NASA work.
