Profile
Converts polypropylene waste into PureFive recycled resin through a licensed dissolution process, then compounds grades for packaging, automotive and other uses. Revenue comes from resin and co-product sales, with commercial production concentrated at the single Ironton facility.
Uses a P&G-developed dissolution process to separate color, odor and impurities from polypropylene waste, producing PureFive recycled resin with properties similar to virgin material. Feed PreP sorting supplies the Ironton, Ohio purification plant, while on-site compounding tailors PureFive Ultra and PureFive Choice for film, packaging and molded applications.
Commercial work centers on qualifying recycled and compounded pellets with converters and brands. Resin and co-product sales generate revenue; recent deliveries include detergent caps, while trial shipments extend to food-service cups and flexible packaging.
Ironton remains the sole operating purification plant and continues to ramp after recurring reliability constraints. Planned sites in Rayong, Antwerp and Augusta require permits and construction funding. Operations also depend on suitable feedstock, customer and regulatory qualification, and the continuing P&G technology license.
