Profile
Sells pork, commodities and milled food, container shipping, renewable fuels and Dominican power through separately managed businesses. Revenue comes mainly from CT&M’s commodity-trading and milling operation, while family control and joint ventures centralize ownership and decentralize operations.
Combines vertically integrated pork production and processing, grain and oilseed trading and milling through CT&M, and container shipping through Seaboard Marine. The portfolio also includes biodiesel and renewable diesel, Dominican floating power generation, a non-controlling Butterball interest, and Argentine sugar and alcohol operations.
Operates across the Americas, while CT&M maintains trading, milling and processing assets principally in Africa and South America. Decentralized segment teams connect trading, mills, vessels, processing assets and fuel plants; pork fat supplies some liquid-fuels inputs, and CT&M joins procurement, commodities, milling and ocean logistics.
Depends on commodity and feedstock economics, trade and shipping access, policy-driven environmental credits, and Dominican dispatch rules and government-owned power buyers. Bresky-family entities control most common shares, and several material businesses are affiliates with shared governance.
