Profile

LendingTree, Inc.TREEFinancials

Runs a consumer marketplace that matches shoppers with partner offers across Home, Consumer, and Insurance. Consumers use the service without direct fees; partners pay for matching, lead, or marketplace activity, and insurance now carries most of the revenue base.

Operates an online consumer-finance marketplace organized around Home, Consumer, and Insurance. Home covers purchase mortgages, refinancing, and home-equity products; Consumer covers credit cards, personal loans, small business loans, student loans, auto loans, deposit accounts, and related credit products; Insurance connects shoppers with quote products for auto, home, life, health, and Medicare.

Built around U.S. consumer shopping rather than balance-sheet lending, the service is free to consumers and earns revenue from partners that pay for matching, lead, or marketplace activity. Insurance now carries most of the revenue base after the QuoteWizard expansion.

Execution depends on traffic conversion, partner demand, quote availability, and product breadth across credit and insurance categories. The Insurance segment has a material concentration with Progressive Casualty Insurance, and personal auto and home insurance conditions shape that segment.
