Rents oilfield equipment and supplies sand proppant, contract drilling, and workforce housing to independent oil and gas producers across US shale basins. Assembled through acquisition by Wexford Capital ahead of a 2016 Nasdaq listing, the business later restored Puerto Rico's power grid after a hurricane before divesting most of its utility-infrastructure operations in 2025.

Rents oilfield equipment and supplies sand proppant, contract drilling, and workforce accommodations to independent oil and gas producers, concentrated across US shale basins including the Utica, Marcellus, and Permian. A small utility-infrastructure segment remains after a larger divestiture.

The business was assembled through acquisition by Wexford Capital, which retains roughly half the outstanding shares, ahead of a 2016 Nasdaq listing. Its Cobra Acquisitions subsidiary later became known for restoring Puerto Rico's electric grid after Hurricane Maria, work that also drew a federal bribery investigation and related shareholder litigation.

A 2024 settlement over the outstanding Puerto Rico receivable was followed in 2025 by the sale of most infrastructure subsidiaries, leaving a smaller, cash-rich company centered on its original oilfield service lines. Leadership passed from a long-serving chief executive to a chief operating officer holding principal-executive authority, with no successor CEO named.
