Profile
Produces finished and semi-finished steel for automotive, construction, appliance, energy and other industrial customers, alongside a smaller iron-ore mining business. Operations are centered on Mexico and Brazil, with an integrated production network and a major transition underway at Pesquería.
Produces slabs, coils, sheets, coated steel, tubes, beams, rebar and wire rod through the Steel segment, while Mining supplies iron-ore lump, concentrates and pellets. Customers include automotive, construction, appliance, energy and other industrial businesses.
Operations are centered on Mexico and Brazil, with additional markets across Argentina and neighboring Southern Cone countries, Colombia, Central America and the southern United States. An integrated network spans steelmaking, finishing and service centers, and the Pesquería expansion is adding higher-value automotive sheet and a lower-emissions production route.
Steel pricing and industrial demand across its core American markets shape results. The operating transition also depends on completing, commissioning and qualifying the new Pesquería facilities, while San Faustin retains control and each NYSE-traded ADS represents ten ordinary shares.
