Profile

MYR Group Inc.MYRGIndustrials

Builds and maintains transmission lines, substations, distribution networks, and electrical systems for data centers, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, and other commercial or industrial facilities across the United States and Canada. Earns contract revenue through utility projects and largely fixed-price commercial work, with results tied to bid discipline and project execution.

Builds, upgrades, and maintains electrical infrastructure through two contracting segments. Transmission and Distribution covers high-voltage lines, substations, lower-voltage networks, clean-energy projects, EV charging infrastructure, and emergency restoration for utilities and power producers across the United States and Ontario.

Commercial and Industrial designs, installs, maintains, and repairs wiring for data centers, transportation systems, hospitals, manufacturing and processing facilities, and other complex sites across the United States and western Canada. The Valley acquisition broadened this operation in the western United States.

Competes through local customer relationships, technical and project-management expertise, a centralized specialized-equipment fleet, safety performance, and bonding capacity. Revenue depends on competitively bid projects and utility or construction spending; fixed-price work exposes margins to labor, materials, scheduling, and cost-estimation errors, while many contracts can be terminated on short notice.
