Profile

Dycom Industries, Inc.DYIndustrials

Builds, installs, and maintains fiber, wireless, utility, and data-center infrastructure across the United States. Communications serves telecom and utility customers, while Building Systems handles electrical, energy-management, security, and fire-safety systems; contract volumes depend on project awards and customer capital-spending plans.

Builds and maintains digital, telecommunications, and utility infrastructure across the United States through Communications and Building Systems. Communications plans, engineers, constructs, locates, and maintains aerial, underground, wireline, and wireless networks, plus selected electric and gas utility systems.

Building Systems installs electrical, energy-management, security, and fire-safety systems for data centers and other critical facilities. A decentralized network of 38 operating companies keeps field operations and customer service local while corporate teams centralize risk management, treasury, information technology, and major equipment approvals.

Earns contract revenue as work is performed under master service agreements and work orders. Revenue is concentrated among large telecommunications customers, and many agreements commit no minimum service volume. Customer capital budgets, permitting, contractor licensing, workplace-safety rules, and weather shape project timing.
