Profile

MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc.MTSIInformation Technology

Designs and manufactures RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and lightwave semiconductors for Industrial & Defense, Data Center, and Telecommunications customers. Products span devices, integrated circuits, modules, and subsystems, supported by internal and third-party manufacturing and reported as one operating segment.

Designs, develops, and manufactures semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, modules, and subsystems across RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and lightwave technologies. Industrial & Defense, Data Center, and Telecommunications are the principal end markets, while financial reporting treats the business as one operating segment.

Compound-semiconductor design and fabrication span GaAs and GaN capabilities in the United States and Europe, supported by internal plants and third-party manufacturing and assembly. Product-line organizations combine engineering, qualification, applications support, and post-sale technical support under shared accountability.

Demand is cyclical and concentrated, and ordering depends on customers and distributors. Operations also depend on export-control compliance, access to internal and external fabrication and assembly, acquisition integration, and retention of specialized employees.
