Research philosophy

We don’t want to be the 25th or 30th analyst on a name.
Natasha Boyden, US equity research director (2012)

When Cantor expanded its equity research in 2012, it was still best known for bonds. Its research director said the team would focus on small- and mid-cap stocks that received limited analyst attention or had fallen out of favor with investors. As of 2026, Cantor says its research combines proprietary models, detailed analysis and interviews with leading industry experts.
